Roberto, a drummer in a rock band, keeps receiving weird phone calls and being followed by a mysterious man. One night he manages to catch up with his persecutor and tries to get him to talk but in the ensuing struggle he accidentally stabs him. He runs away, but he understands his troubles have just begun when the following day he receives an envelope with photos of him killing the man. Someone is killing all his friends and trying to frame him for the murders
To date untill this baby gets the proper treatment it deserves in the way of an official digitally remastered cleaned up release, this is probably the BEST full uncut version you are going to find. While far from perfect (lots of analog damage, there's no doubt this print ran through the projector quite a bit - as well as several sequences inserted from the previous bootleg source to complement the shorter German print) it still is a huge improvement over all previous versions available. The scenes inserted from the crappy bootleg source consist to 95% of longer sequences that have been excised from the German print to give the movie a quicker pace, a practice that was quite common in 60s and 70s Germany. The only notable moment where a scene omited for censorship reasons has been reinstated, happens in the bludgeoning/strangling sequence of the man about halfway through the picture.
For about 90 minutes of the 97 minutes runtime though, this new version indeed offers the opportunity to finally really see what is going on.
